InFo: Isaac Newton, English physicist, Astronomer, Mathematician, Philosopher, alchemist, theologian, is one of the most influencial Scientists in history. Newton layed most of the ground for Classical mechanics and explained gravity with his Three Laws of Motion, which were:

First Law: A Body at rest will remain at rest unless acted on by an external force.

Second Law:Force equals mass times accelleration. (F=ma)

Third Law:To every action there is and equal and oposite reaction.

Newton also showed that movement of Celestial bodies including that of the Earth could be explained with the same set of laws, while staying true to Keplar's Laws of Planetary Motion, thus clearing away the idea of Heliocentrism (Sun as the center of the Universe) and changing the way the world veiwed the Universe.

Other developments offered by Newton include the theory of Momentum and Angular Momentum in Mechanics, creating the first Refracting Telescope, and that white light decomposed into the many colors of the spectrum, which he descovered through shining white light through a prism. Newton also developed the empirical Law of cooling, and studied the speed of sound

Isaac Newton's contributions to science has allowed him to be considered the most influencial scientist in history, and has been considered more influential on the history of science when compaired to Alber Einstein according to a survey of scientists in Britain's Royal Society in 2005.
