Bengal Tiger
The Bengal Tiger is a subspecies of tiger found mostly in India as well as Bangladesh. It is one of the largest and most numerous of Tiger subspecies, with about 1,1411 wild tigers as reported by the government of India.
Once found throughout India, the Bengal tiger's natural habitat has reduced considerably due to interactions with humans. Most tigers in India are isolated into many small populations making them vulnerable to extinction. |
